Digital curriculum and tablet Handover Ceremony

To the students of Borsodi Műhely Kft – Digital curriculum and tablet Handover Ceremony

25 October 2017, Wednesday 11:00 Industrial Park of Győr, Juharfa utca 8.

The Group of Borsodi Companies has been engaged in the practical training of students since 2008. The company took and takes steps at both university and secondary-school level to ensure continuous development and innovation and to supply specialists.

In the recent almost ten years, 56 students chose our company as place of practice and many of them are now welcomed as our colleagues.

In 2014, we won the honouring title “excellent training place”, which is granted to training places where mostly training complying with the market expectations is held.

Our company provides the same terms for its students as for its own workers, including company working clothes, protective equipment, extra payments, company programmes. The students have the possibility to work at all the three sites of the company in the framework of mobility scholarship.

The students are trained by means of the curriculum developed by the company’s specialists on the basis of the professional and examination requirements related to the specific trade and its framework curriculum.

2017 is a important milestone in the student training at Borsodi Műhely Kft., as a new revised digital curriculum has been developed for the students. The curriculum now includes also today’s indispensable competencies beyond the trade itself, such as basic financial knowledge, which encourages responsibly thinking in today’s consumer society. The professional part of the curriculum has been expanded with educational videos, animations and references to special sites. The curriculum is available also in a digital form on tablets and smart phones.

For that purpose, we organised an opening celebration on 25.10.2017 where the students (27) took over the renewed digitalised curriculum, and Borsodi Műhely Kft. provides one table for each student, that were handed over to the students by managing director Mónika Horváthné Borsodi.
